What to Expect

When you are looking for a veterinary care clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. Perry Hall Animal Hospital in Baltimore MD has an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet. We have a state-of-the-art veterinary facility which is not only clean, comfortable, and efficient, but is easy to get to and offers a variety of healthcare services for your pets including specialty care. Call 410-256-4888, or email us to schedule an appointment we will find a time that is convenient for you.

At least once a year, you should take your pet in for a check-up. This will include a full physical exam in which our doctors will check the health of your pet from head to tail. At Perry Hall Animal Hospital, we provide ample time in our appointments and schedule them for a minimum of 30 minutes compared to many other veterinary clinics that try to get you in and out in 15-20 minute appointment slots. We take the time to explain and educate you on your pet's health.

Please forward any medical history you have of your pet prior to your appointment. Our doctors like to be prepared to discuss any previous history or concerns with you or to know what your pet may be in need of before your actual appointment. It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. If you have something like this, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. Our doctors will research your pet's history to determine the best course of action on the day of your appointment.

In some circumstances, we will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as nutrition, neurological care or eye care. We work closely with an experienced surgeon who performs advanced and highly technical surgeries right here in our Perry Hall veterinary office where you and your pets feel most comfortable. We also offer advanced imaging diagnostics such as ultrasounds and echocardiograms by a registered sonographer who also brings her services right into our hospital for your convenience. Visit our services page for more information on these services.

We ask that you arrive a few minutes early to your appointment if you are a new client, in order to get your new client paperwork filled out and any previous medical records entered into our system. You may also email us this information ahead of time at [email protected]

We look forward to meeting you and your pets!
