Dr. Krista Rieckert grew up in New Jersey and completed her undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University. After working as a veterinary technician, she earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Rieckert completed a small animal rotating internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC. Since then, she has enjoyed practicing in and around Baltimore. Her professional interests include internal medicine, wound management, and feline medicine. Dr. Rieckert shares her home with two "foster fail" cats, Huckleberry and Wyatt. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son, working on artistic projects, escape rooms, traveling, and theater.
