Katie is what we call a PHAH OG. She joined our technical team in 2014 and worked with us until 2019. She left general practice to pursue her interest in shelter medicine, working as the surgery manager for BARCS from 2019-2021. Katie made her return to PHAH in February of 2021 and we are so happy to have her back. Katie is heavily experienced in all aspects of vetmed, starting her career as a technician in 2006. Along with superior technical skills, Katie has a passion for internal medicine, feline medicine, and hospice care.

Katie graduated from Villanova with a degree in Sociology in 2004. In 2017, she earned her degree in Veterinary Technology from CCBC, and passed her boards that same year.

Outside of PHAH, Katie enjoys being outdoors with her family, and spending time with her pets - Ruby the Australian Shepherd, and Mr. Stitch, a rescued orange tabby.
