DVM

Kathy Hatzigiannakis

“Dr. H” recently joined the amazing PHAH doctor team and we couldn’t be happier to have her on board! She earned her DVM in 2014 from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA, after receiving her BS from Towson University. Dr. H has been involved in all levels of veterinary medicine since her career started in 2001 as an assistant. She went on to earn her RVT and LVT licensure after graduating from CCBC in 2005 with an AA in Veterinary Technology, and worked as a registered technician for 10 years before taking the plunge into vet school! Dr. H has years of general practice small animal experience as well as time spent at Baltimore Humane Society as their Spay and Neuter Surgical Veterinarian. Dr. H’s interests include diagnostic procedures such as cytologies and biopsies, radiograph and ultrasound imaging, as well as soft tissue surgery. Her future goals involve a focus on dentistry and perhaps becoming specialized in the areas of advanced procedures like restoration, orthodontics and endodontics. She has a “little” group at home, which include Veruca, Onion and Mishra – her team of Chihuahuas! Storm Shadow, a corn snake and Cobra Commander a w. hognose snake, add an eclectic mix to the household!
