Anastasia Breidenbaugh

Dr. Anastasia Breidenbaugh comes to PHAH from Winchester, Virginia where she served as an associate veterinarian and then as medical director. Dr. Breidenbaugh earned her bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from Towson University and earned her DVM from Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She is excited to join the PHAH team and to live closer to her family in Maryland!

Dr. Breidenbaugh is certified in Low-Stress Handling and is dedicated to making your pet's experience at the hospital comfortable and anxiety-free. She is passionate about ultrasonography, palliative care, dentistry, surgery and is working toward a certification in veterinary acupuncture. Dr. Breidenbaugh believes that it takes a team to care for your four-legged family members and that team effort centers on client education and communication. She lives with her husband, Danny, and their four black cats: Gemma, Luna, Norbert, and Remus and their black lab/hound mix, Merlin. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors: camping, hiking, or kayaking, and exercising the right side of her brain- crafting and making music.
