Abby joined PHAH in 2015 as a veterinary assistant with no previous veterinary experience. She quickly excelled and advanced in her role of providing compassionate care to our patients, and assisting our doctors and technicians. Abby developed a strong passion for veterinary medicine, and developed her technical skills while here at PHAH. She has been working as a veterinary technician since 2016, earned her degree in Veterinary Technology from CCBC in 2018, and excels in patient care and client education. Abby is low stress handling certified by Dr. Sophia Yin’s Low Stress Handling University, and is our lead orthopedic surgery technician. She also enjoys teaching and training new hires, and continuing to advance her own skills and knowledge. 

Abby spends her free time hiking with her two adopted tripods, Daisy and Elsa (pictured), and cuddling with her two adopted cats, Yoda and Bun Bun.
