Kayla has been a veterinary assistant at PHAH since 2016. She is passionate about animal welfare and has experience working as a shelter attendant in South Carolina. Kayla is skilled at surgical and anesthetic assistance, and plays a vital role in caring for our surgical patients. She enjoys learning about canine behavior, and has future goals of becoming an RVT.

Outside of work, Kayla likes to read, work on puzzles, and spend time outdoors. She shares her home with an energetic pitbull named Jetta, and her two cats, Louie and Oliver.
