Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Dr. Katherine Miller joined our practice in 2018.  She received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in both Dairy Sciences, and Animal and Poultry Sciences.  Following undergraduate school, Dr. Miller headed to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts where she obtained her DVM.  Dr. Miller attended Cornell University for her clinical training.

Dr. Miller is our only certified Cat Friendly Veterinarian at Perry Hall.  She has completed an extensive certification from the American Association of Feline Practitioners on Feline low stress handling, preventative care, and extensive disease management.

Dr. Miller also holds certifications in both low stress handling, and fear free certification.  She is passionate about making a trip to the veterinarian both stress free, and enjoyable for your furry family members!

Special interests of Doctor Miller's include, but are not limited to: general surgery, feline internal medicine, neurology, and ophthalmology.  

In her free time, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time outside - boating, hiking, and beaching! She loves to spend time watching Hokie Football and spending quality time with her cat, Oliver!
